Philosophy

We believe that chemical dependency is a chronic and progressive illness. However, it is an illness many people can and do recover from. We also know the illness effects all area of living including the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual functioning. We strongly believe in the principles and philosophy embodied in the 12 Step Programs. We find this approach first outlined in 1935 offers the most responsible path to recovery for chemically dependent person. We believe that with adequate treatment and through the process of ongoing change, our client?s lives can be transformed into responsible, capable, and productive members of their families and our communities.

Methodology

Evidence based, 12 Step, spiritual enrichment, relapse prevention, equine therapy, motivational interviewing and much more.Each client is led through the treatment process with individualized treatment plans. Our staff includes licensed therapists, licensed addiction professionals

90 day residential treatment facility located in the Smokey Mountains of East Tennessee. Services for adult males and females in an serene mountain enviroment on 27+ acres. English Mountain Recovery is dedicated to providing the highest quality of recovery services to individuals, and their families at the most affordable costs. We are committed to client service, while emphasizing a spiritual foundation, true to the original concept of the 12 Steps.
