I had a horrible experience with the Pat Moore Foundation and in the short time I was there it looked like everyone else was having a horrible experience as well.
THERE IS NO MEDICAL STAFF ON DUTY. I could have gone into seizures and they couldn't have done anything. And yet they sign intake documents as if they are physicians. Read the copy on their website and you'll see that what they are really describing is corralling a bunch of strung out people into a fenced in parking lot for 28 days while a fake nurse drops off meds and leaves.
Worst behavior, though, was when they ushered my wife out to leave me and THEN while I was completely inebriated, they had me sign a bunch of refund waivers and had me pre-pay for a whole month.
A year later and I am still fighting them for $10,000 that is clearly not theirs.
I have registered a for state inquiry into their procedures. I'm certain that their recidivism rates are sky high.
Please let me know if you've had a similar experience.
