Philosophy
Alcoholism and drug addiction are devastating diseases involving the mind, body and spirit. An addiction to alcohol or other drugs or a “habit” is often misunderstood, not only by people who are addicted, but also by their friends and families. At A Bridge to Recovery, we recognize that an addiction is a disease. We also recognize that addiction is treatable and that treatment works. Adults who are addicted to alcohol and other drugs often deal with incredible challenges when faced with ongoing responsibilities. A Bridge to Recovery’s comprehensive treatment program makes it possible for clients to balance ongoing treatment with personal and professional commitments. We provide individualized and focused treatment for men and women, offering them renewed confidence and hope for the future.

Family Program Description
Alcoholism is a disease that affects the entire family. A Bridge to Recovery recognizes the need for family members and loved ones to embark on their own spiritual journey of recovery. Most family members are usually exposed to years of painful experiences surrounding the alcoholic/addict’s addictive behavior. As part of the family component of the IOP, we encourage family members and loved ones to participate in the healing process and to further explore how their lives have been personally affected by the disease. Here they will have the opportunity to better understand addiction, family dynamics, and the recovery process for their loved one, as well as for themselves.
