Hello,

I am new here. This is my first time to come to this forum. My name is hopeless, because that is how I feel. I have been married for 11 years to an addict who is currently in a prison based rehab and will be released in 6 months......I am not here for him, I am here for me........My life has become unmanageable. He has been locked up for almost a year, and yet I am still miserable, shaky, nervous, full of anxiety an co-dependent on people in my own family. I am as sick as he is......I realize this now. I want to learn how to do this 12 step program....I want it more than I have ever wanted anything! Please help me!

Bless your heart...I hear you, and have been where you are. You are in a beautiful state right now...a state of openness, humility, and teachability. This is the point God has brought to you for some wonderful purposes...the way up the other side of the "V" is stubly, halting, sometimes difficult, but always ultimately upward. Congratulations. Hitting a bottom is something so many never do, and so they cannot relate to fellow human travelers who are there. Your bottom at this point will be God's blessing to so many in the future.!

God loves you and so do I...please, keep coming back!
