For 7yrs i was doing pretty much any drug i could get my hands on. Mostly coccaine and Crack and prescription pills such as xanax. My life was going nowhere and I was losing trust and contact with the people who ment the most to me. MY family. I needed to get help. I had tried to get help at regular outpatient programs. Half the time was getting messed up and going to them or not going at all. So i looked on the internet and found myself a place that was out of my state. Because in my mind you really can't get help until you remove yourself totally from the situation. 9 out of 10 times I was going back to drugs because of the people i hung out with and places i hung around. So I found this place called Narconon. It was out in the middle of no mans land in oklahoma so it was perfect. I called them and told them the same story i'm telling you all now, and 1 day later i was on an airplane out to this place. It was completely different than I originally thought. I had previously done a 12 step program which really didn't do a whole lot for me. This place had a normal withdraw program minus the drugs to get off of drugs approach. They used all natural vitamins which helped alot. Than i got out of withdraw into a huge surrounding house. I mean there were over 140 students with me. guys girls age's ranged from 18-50. I immediately was welcomed by a few people and I didn't feel alone. Even the people that had worked their were graduates of the program. So they understood what I was going through.
