Situated on 400 acres in rural Hanover County, Virginia, near Richmond, the historic plantation offers a restorative setting for recovery. Built more than 200 years ago, the Williamsville Plantation house has been restored to provide a comfortable, healing experience for our residents. Since 2007, people seeking to break the bonds of gambling addiction have found Williamsville Wellness to be fulfilling, whole health experience, treating both mind and body. Therapy is specifically designed to fit the needs of each individual client. The number of patients is limited to eitght to allow personalized therapy which generally lasts three to four weeks. The onsite staff offers a respected clinical psychiatrist, psychologists, counselors, an addiction/relapse therapist, a physical fitness trainer and two peer counselors, complemented by specialists who conduct hypnosis, deep clinical massage, and personalized art therapy.
