i just left Morris Village the end of august 2011. I had an outbreak & Dr.Car would not give me anything for it. When i told her I hadn't had a period in 4 months she prescribed me stool softeners! They could really use a better educated doctor there... Ms. Jamie is an extremely rude and seemingly unconcerned case manager. She deliberately held me there a week longer than i should've been simply because I specifically asked when I could go, which is obviously a question that won't be answered there... The rudest nurse of all was Nishelle - she cursed at me several times & she looks at you like you shouldn't dare talk to her, just like Ms. Jamie. Oh and be on your toes around nurse Ginger... She will write you up if you look at her wrong and she is always watching you. Other than that the place is OK for a rehab center although there is no freedom & no watching television Monday thru Thursday. The food is alright i thought... They have a beautiful lake out back that nobody is allowed to use... that sucks... and you will never be close enough to it to enjoy it, so what good is it?

EVERYONE AT MORRIS VILLAGE IS THERE TO HELP U AND IT IS NOT ALL GROUPS AND ONE ON ONE COUNCLING. THEY GIVE U YOUR BOOKS AND WORK THAT U HAVE TO DO AND BELIVE ME AFTER U GET TO THE END U ARE GOING TO RELIZE THAT THE BOOK THAT U HAVE ARE ACTUALLY ABOUT U. U GET ALL KINDS OF COUNCLING AND THEY HELP U GET YOUR SELF ESTEEM BACK AND THEY ALSO TREAT U AS AN HUMAN BEING THAT JUST TOOK AN WRONG TURN. THEY WONT TREAT U AS IF U ARE GOING TO SPREAD SOME KILLER VIRUS TO THEM. THIS PLACE SAVED MY LIFE AND TAUGHT ME THAT I AM IMPORTANT AND STRONG NOT WEAK.
