Sober residential services provided by Structured Living LLC
are really good and I would recommend it to anyone in recovery.
Charges for furnished and comfortable living are subsidized by its owner founder who himself is a recovering alcoholic for many years and is independently wealthy. I believe he opened his houses
as a giveback to fellow recovering alcoholics & addicts. ZERO
tolerance!. Do not waste your money unless you are truly serious
to stay sober.

I spent 18 months at one of their sober homes. Before that, I had been to more than a few treatment rehabs and sober houses but
could not stay clean for one reason or another.
The atmosphere at these houses is more like
that of a "home". I did not feel like I was
warehoused but wanted. No doubt, when it
comes to following rules, they are strict but that I could live with because I did not feel looked down upon. "Everyone in the
house is in the same boat. No one is better or worse than another in recovery, including myself" is the mantra of the person who started these houses. Importance is given to help regain one's self esteem
thru being gainfully engaged, doing service work, employed and staying clean. The house managers are instructed to excercise care, compassion but come down hard on anyone who messes with the structure of the house. You'll be out before you can spell "Mom".
"Addiction is serious and a matter of life & death" is a common saying drilled into the residents.

I Do Agree With The High Ratings Given To Structured Living LLC Facilities In Ann Arbor By Previous Visitors.
These Houses Are Ideal For Recovering Individuals Who Are Indeed Serious About Getting Better By Staying Clean & Sober. I Screen My Clients Carefully Before Referring Them To Structured Living. As A Result, Three Of Them Who Have Been Residents At Separate Structured Living Houses for 4 to 18 Months Have Nothing But Good Things To Say About Their Experiences. Note: Like Any Other Place, They Did Have Some Trouble Adjusting In The Beginning Of Their Stays. It Is To Be Expected. However, With The Help Of Others In These Houses, They Were Able To Work Their Way Thru Growing Pains And Settle Down Into A Structured Routine. My Clients Feel Very Comfortable Now And I Expect Them To Stay With SL For An Extended Period. One Among The Lucky Three, Upon Being Encouraged To Do So By The Owner / Founder Of SL, Completed His High School And Is Now In College, On His Way To Become A Social Worker. I am Told That Any Resident Of Structured Living LLC., Who Pursues Higher Education Can Expect A Bonus Or A Discount From The Founder Of This Venture As He Considers Education To Be The Second Most Important Priority After Sobriety . The Third Being Gainful Employment. What A Blessing For All Concerned!
House Managers Are Very Careful In Their Dealings With The Residents. The Person Behind This Operation Is Known To Hold The Managers Accountable If He Feels That A Resident Was Treated Unfairly. I Have Witnessed A Manager Replaced For Being Big Headed. According To His Doctrine, Everyone In Any Of His facilities, Including The Managers Or A Supervisor [ Who Are Also In Recovery ] Are Equal And In The Same Boat. No One Is “More Equal”. Compassion, Consideration, Care & Fairness Are To Be Exercised While Implementing The “Zero” Tolerance Rule.
My Rating For Their Services Is Most Certainly Very High
