I was lost no job my family was hating me and i wanted to just disappear. I was living in New York and at first didn’t want to come to Florida but i understood that I had to get far away from my "safe place" that was so unsafe and ruining my life.

I spent 30 days in treatment at Transformations and left knowing that I have received excellent substance abuse counseling for my alcohol addiction. From the first time I picked up the phone to get help, I felt like Transformations was the place that would give me the best opportunity to recover. The admissions coordinator I spoke with was extremely helpful and compassionate walking me through the next steps to enter their facility. What impressed me the most was that the description of the treatment program, individual and group therapy was exactly what I received while there for my 30 days. Furthermore, their facilities are fantastic, the rooms clean, my private bedroom a sanctuary I could retreat to at the end of the day and feel like I had the time to contemplate what I had learned in treatment during each day. As I look back on my time there, the staff and therapist were all so caring and concerned about my recovery. I have a son that just turned to 24 and to be honest his life has been a complete mess, until he participated in the great program that Transformations Treatment Center has to offer. The path he was on was a very self destructing one, suffering from addiction and major depression he dropped out of college, no job, garbage for friend, definitely not the sight a caring father wants to see. I have always been tough on my son and i have always wanted him to succeed so seeing him this way really just killed me. I took initiative and scheduled an intervention with transformations and my son, they really got to him, they really made him see his mistakes and all the positive possibilities that he had. I'm glad he accepted to go through with their Drug Addiction Program. He has been clean 6 months now and enrolled at the Community College.
