I work with several treatment centers. In my experience I have found Sovereign Health to have a firm grasp on treatment as well as business. Their people are top notch, definitely worth a phone call to get more information.

I wanted a program that has a rehab center and for depression, like a dual diagnose program. I’m glad I came to this program – it has wonderful groups. I Learnt how to cook healthy food.
The nutritionist comes in for group is wonderful. It’s kinda like structured so I want to continue living my life like that, like go to the gym, eat right – I don’t even understand why I was drinking, until I came here and was dual diagnosed and I found out that, because I suffer from depression, it’s wonderful – like now I know why I drank and what to avoid and everything.
So, this time, I feel 100% to go out there and to make it on my own. Everyone here is nice. They work with you. Thank you Sovereign Health, for getting… for helping me get my life back.

After getting highly unsatisfied with many treatment centers, I really found Sovereign Health as one of the best. The qualified staff & facilities made me recover so incredibly. The groups are very informative. But, also, kind of friendly – they don’t bore you to death – they talk about very applicable things for anybody who is looking to recover. It’s just great, it really is – I actually enjoy coming here.
I’m clean and sober. I’m definitely applying a lot of the tools that I have learned here, for sure, and just living life. I’m working, hitting on at least one meeting a day.
They are great, that’s my video for the Sovereign Health:

I’ve been to other treatment facilities and I can’t stand the whole locked in thing. I don’t like being locked into a facility where your there for 30 days and you don’t get to leave. Here you get to go out, socialize with people, go to the beach. That’s what I really liked about this place.

Please, if you want strong recovery please do not go. Not helpful for those receiving treatment or for families. Maybe once was a good program but it has fallen a part. So unstructured, the rules are all over the place. There are some great staff but man, I feel sorry for what they have to put up with from those higher than them. They promise things but it never is seen. They like to "talk" but no action. What you read on the internet is not what you get on their website. I personally KNOW how this place works. Please do not go. There are some amazing programs out there...this is not one of them. Good luck with all to come.

I heard about Sovereign program through Treatment Solutions Network and its where my EAP had told me to go. It was still diagnosis and it had the whole homely feeling. Sovereign is you know just the right size as far as people and staff and so I hopped on a plane. I am from Connecticut I came all the way out to California. Sovereign definitely changed groups we have a lot more educational groups now like brain wellness and cognitive rehabilitation which I love the cognitive rehabilitation with Dr Cho. She always show some really good slides pretty much and she always has a good presentation that usually play like a really neat game but it is just cool to see how you know due to our addictions and whatever is that we have been going through whether its mental health, depression. The staff here is great and so friendly and is almost like your family.

Being pretty much depressed due to eating disorder, I ended up in a very bad spot. Here at Sovereign Health, I learnt how to overcome this. Meeting with the nutritionist once in a week is wonderful, going to the gym and working out on regular basis.
Everything about the eating disorder program is great. To be perfectly honest, I came into this program thinking that I knew everything, but I learned at least one thing new every single day I was here.
All of the staff has been wonderful. I enjoyed one on one conversations with my therapist, Krissy, with Deb the nutritionist, with Larry, and with Dr Vicky. Every time I talk to somebody like that, I feel enlightened. Oh, and Dr. Sunny was fantastic! She can turn any negative thought into a positive thought – it’s amazing. You walk in feeling depressed, and you walk out with a smile on your face every time. I am blessed that I have been here.
I’ve come to joke that the only difference between us and people out there is that we admitted we have a problem. I’ve met some really great people here. I’ve never been disappointed by the clients or the staff. It really changed my perspective on everybody.

I loved the counselors and therapists that were here. They genuinely cared about me. They genuinely wanted me to get better. And I’ve maintained relationships with those people. It was an honor, when I received my Masters degrees that Daniel Duffy actually came to my graduation to support me – because he told me when I was here, “When you graduate – I wanna be at the ceremony.” Not ‘if you graduate’, ‘if you make it’, he said “when you make it, I wanna be there”. And he showed up and that was an awesome experience and such an honor that he cared enough to have faith in me – that I could make it.

Through hard work and determination on my part and, with the professionals here, they have opened up my eyes to another way to be. And I couldn’t speak any highlier of this program. It’s helped me and if it’s helped me – I’m a pretty hard core alcoholic and I don’t learn very quick – Sovereign Health is a great place for recovery, because you learn so much more than not drinking or not using drugs. You learn the whole gamut of thinking and accepting yourself and relaxation.
