I never thought anyone would ever understand what I was going through. I knew others struggled with eating disorders, but in my heart, I just didn’t think anyone would ever fully understand me and my issues. At Sunset Malibu within the first couple weeks, I found myself opening up more and more to the staff, and thankfully, by the end of my time period there, I came out with several lifelong friends and came across a group of people that influenced me in a way that would transfix my own relationship within myself for the eternal good. I want to thank ALL of you. I feel that I am a new person now and look forward to my exciting new life.

I just want so say how thankful and grateful I am to Sunset Malibu’s Drug and Alcohol treatment program and staff. Now, I know I am fully recovered human being. I have been addicted to just about any kind of drug that’s out there. I honestly did not think that I would live to see the age of 50. Today, I am 51 years old and have been clean for a little over two years now thanks to Sunset Malibu. The treatment there is unlike any other I have experienced in my life, and truth be told, I have been to a couple other place and didn’t have quite the same effect. I believe I still have many more years left ahead of me and I can be healthy for a long time. I never thought I would say that. Thanks again Sunset Malibu. You changed my life forever.

My sister checked into Sunset Malibu in the summer of 07, and today she is a completely transformed and new woman. I personally never thought she would quit drinking, however, after the alcohol rehabilitation process, and to this today, she has no desire whatsoever to have a drink of any sort. She is very active and concerned about her health. She diets, goes on walks, hikes, and loves the outdoors. It’s amazing!! She is a whole new personJ my utmost and sincerest gratitude.

Let me start by saying that the environment of Sunset Malibu is breath-taking and majestic. Being in such a serene atmosphere played a big roll in my recovery, as well as, the loving, caring and miracle working employees that were there to walk and talk with me throughout my stay. Hands down, Sunset Malibu is the place to go for ANY kind of addictions. Thank you for changing my life.

As a young man struggling with an eating disorder and depression, I almost ended my life by ODing on prescription drugs. My parents friends recommended Sunset Malibu for treatment as they not only treat drug abuse, but dual diagnosis as well. I was able to receive treatment for my eating disorder, depression and drug abuse all at the same time. As we drove over the cliffs towards Zuma beach, I felt for the first time a hope I hadn`t felt in years. The staff at Sunset supported me every step of the way. It was a long, hard process, but I truly believe Sunset gave me my life back. I feel like a whole man again, I have hope in my future.
