Hello everyone... I was hoping someone here could give me some advice on what to do when I have the urge to go out and find someone, anyone to fulfill what I really don't even want. I can't seem to stop myself before i destroy another friendship or relationship. I fell like my whole life is crumbling and I am watching myself take out the foundation with no way of stopping myself. What do you do when you have the urge? Please help me

I can tell you from personal experience with drug addiction, dealing with urges to engage in whatever mood-altering experience (whether it be taking drugs, having sex, gambling etc.) to which we're addicted is the key to recovery from the unmanageability that engaging in that activity is causing in our lives...
This sort of question is ideal to be submitted as a discussion rather than just posted on this group's wall

How can we get more people to join this group? There is such a great need for people to have support with this addiction. Just like drug or alcohol addictions this too destroys your life.
