Blog Description:
You might recognize this, the thoughts that keep comming into your mind, playing over and over again, you decide that you will try to think about something else, and before you know it, theres that stupid thought again, the same one!
Days go by, weeks, sometimes months and you feel like it is driving you crazy! Or your friend suggests that you think of a good thought instead, and you try that, but there it is again...your right back into that groove like a needle in a record player...over and over and over again and again. One of the things I work with in coaching clients is having a good look at what those thoughts are, usually underneath the repetitive thoughts are whispers of some real nasty negative stuff. The kind of stuff that without a doubt is classfied as verbal abuse! Most of us walk around all day long verbally abusing ourselves and most of the time we aren't even aware of it! I help individuals change pattern of conversation that is going on in their heads, so that they can move beyond just recovery, or just surviving. It was once more than one expected to just simply make it for a week clean and sober...but at some point, we realize there is so much more that we can achieve to become the person we really want to be! If you or anyone you know is struggling with where they are in recovery, I invite you to contact me for coaching! I have 15 years of experience in recovery and sobriety, and 13 years of working with others in recovery. ~Cheryl Frei~Live the life your soul was meant to live! | ||||||||
