Easy Does It (A Song For Frustrated Women)

The first rung of our mental awareness ladder to disappear when we swallow alcohol is the rung that holds up JUDGEMENT. That fact has caused more human suffering than most of us can imagine. One form of sufferring is the sufferring that happens when a lack of judgement is mixed in with an all-too human emotion...lust. That mixture often results in unwanted pregnancies, jail-time, shame, STD's, or maybe a lifetimes of marriage between two people who barely know each other!
The recording of this song won a nice award from Billboard Magazine. It explored the feelings of a woman who is having, for her own reasons, to "hold off" an over-eager man, while herself feeling passion.
Please enjoy the lyric as a poem until we are technically able to imbed a digital recording in the blog post.

Ea-sy Does It, ho-ney,
Move real slow.
Love's to be no hur-ry
Lay-back, let go.
Feelings when you touch me
Rush so high.
We're still just a new two,
Take your time!
(Bridge)
Our love was shaped by God for us to sav-or.
And love is like fine wine, it takes some time.
Our joy for years will surge be-yond all mea-sure
If truth, re-spect and trust outlast our drive.
(repeat verse, above)
